Agape- Bear’s Den, I first heard Bear’s Den on Sirius XM radio’s station “the spectrum” I don’t know much on the band, they’ve only got a few songs out, but so far I’ve only fallen in love with this one: ĥ. However, it’s totally worth looking at : Īlso, I’ve been doing some youtube suggestion searching, these songs by her are pretty great too: Damn You-  and Serial Killer- Ĥ. This song is a slight change of pace from her other music, less burning passion and more sweet melodies. Never Let Me Go- Lana Del Rey-, click o n her tag to see my write up on her. Lost and Found- Katie Herzig an indie alternative artist. Alright? Check it out here: Īlso be sure not to miss their song “Stay.”  its different, speckled with some very poor grammar, but I just find it very catchy, teen-y, rock/pop-y.Ģ. When I was just a little girl, and hardly understood any song lyrics, I was obsessed with Vanessa Carlton and Michelle Branch. Now, rewind 10 years, to my not-so-new music discovery.

I’d suggest her to any fans of Lana del Rey. Her songs are clever, slower, with just the right amount of techno background, and truly demonstrate her strong vocal abilities. Both of the aforementioned songs are fun, anthem-like hits, but Bastille manages to switch up their sound in “No Angels” that shows a slightly slower, more emotional side to the band. Their album Bad Blood’s namesake song manages to stuck in your head, and still tell a story. Known recently for their song “Pompeii” these guys have a lot more to offer than just one hit. An update on my music ventures, I’ve lately been turning up the tunes, some from my past, some not so much.įor starters, I’ve been listening more and more to the band Bastille.
